After September 11, 2001, the prediction of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has materialized. Islam has become as hot as a piece of coal for its followers. The Ummah of the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) is in a very sorry state today. The forces against us are gaining momentum daily. Thus we have to acquire knowledge in the fields that we have neglected.  We have lost over power in the field of education, spirituality, technology, commerce, economics and military might. The evolving of our personalities spiritually has been replaced by in fighting and hair-splitting. Our enemies could not have succeeded on the battlefield against us if we had not become what we have become at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Once we were politically floored the challenge became more magnified. Today we find ourselves at a loss as to how to balance ourselves. We have to restore power in all fields to the highest pitch. Modern civilization with all its glamour is attractive to our youth and they imitate this glamour. This is the challenge. This is not politics this is religion. How do we meet this challenge? Our first challenge is to understand the age we live in.

If one looks at the signs around us the 21^st century is definitely the age of fitan (trials, temptation, deception, oppression, etc.) that the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) described. The ultimate objective of the age of fitan is to test mankind so that only those who truly have faith in Allah, the Most High, and in the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) as His Messenger, can survive the test and en­ter into Heaven (jannah). All the rest of mankind, including compromising, ‘so-called’Muslims, will end up in the single, global, melting pot of godlessness, and will go to Hell (jahannam).

 Growing Jewish Zionist influence in the world over (Middle East) foreign policy in governments, and over decision-making in international organizations, and the perception of a long-term Islamic threat to Israel, to western capitalism and democracy and to the secular model of society, which was designed to sustain them, lie at the very heart of that pressure which Muslims now face. The capacity of Muslim governments to resist such pressures becomes weaker and weaker as political and strategic vulnerability and the economic stranglehold of riba (usury) increase. Indeed the supreme game in the games of dominance, which constitute the New World Order, is political and strategic blackmail and economic and financial imperialism. No where is this supreme game played more resolutely than in the effort to preserve and promote the security of the Jewish State of Israel. Since the media in the western world studiously avoids exposing this fact, most Christians and Jews in USA are unaware of it. There are an abundance of signs, plainly visible to those blessed with spiritual insight (i.e., who see with two eyes, the external and the internal) that we now live in that Last Age, the age that will witness the end of history. How long would this last age last? When will the end come? No one knows but Allah Most High.

 Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia are all client states of a godless U.S.A. They are all dependent on the United States for the survival of their false governments and monarchies. This strategy has not succeeded in the Holy Land of Quds nor in Syria and Yemen. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) had prayed for Syria and Yemen and had predicted the Saudi/ Wahhabi menace to come from Najd.

The Jewish State has survived for 50 years due to the active support of a powerful, godless West headed by U.S.A.  The USA is actually controlled by powerful Jews who hold the financial strings. They hold mankind in their grip due to their dominance in every field especially technology and economics. Their greatest weapon is interest.

 The Qur’aan has stated in the 21st Sura al-Anbiya: Verse 96,

From their height of power they have spread their influence in all directions controlling sea, land and air. Israel is slowly replacing the USA as the ruling state in the world. The Divine intervention of Imam Mahdi and Isa (Jesus) (may Allah bless him with peace)  seems to be our only hope.

At this point in time, the Islamic Community needs to rediscover the value system of Islam on all levels, namely, spiritual, aesthetical (appreciation of beauty), intellectual, moral and physical. The degradation of Muslims has occurred due to our lapse in the pursuit of all knowledge and the eroding principle of unity.

We have become our own worst enemies and the Anglo/American/ Israeli alliance are only capitalizing on a situation that we created. We are concealing our evil ways disguised in a garb of piety. The first step is to be honest to ourselves whether we are really pious and then the ardent desire has to be their to change, both individually and collectively, or else we will never be forgiven. A war is being waged against Islam and an appropriate response is needed. No one can respond until he understands the challenge. The modern nation-states of Islam, in the absence of the Caliphate, which was destroyed in 1924, is the biggest shirk of this age. The destruction of the Sunni Uthmania Empire (Ottoman Empire) put into effect in the First World War, resulted in the emergence of the secular State of Turkey. This had paved the way for the heartland of Islam, under Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud, to be transformed into the State of Saudi Arabia. The creation of the State of Israel in 1948 confirms that ‘Y’aju>j and M’aju>j are released and we are living in the age of mischief ‘fitna’. Those who should be waging a jihad against an interest-centered economy and a caliph-less Muslim world have waged an obnoxious jihad against the belief system of Islam. When belief erodes, iman is weakened and only lifeless rituals remain. It is these Muslims who have accepted the Saudi-Wahabbi alliance that no longer recognizes Allah as sovereign, but have vested this sovereignty in the hands of kings and presidents. This is the biggest collective shirk the modern Islamic Community is guilty of. Many scholars, like Imran Nazar Hosein, on whose research I base the bulk of this paper, and many others, have realized this and are at least, speaking and writing against this state of affairs.  These kings and presidents have flooded so-called Islamic movements with money and have effectively curtailed criticism except for a few murmurs here and there. Makkah the Ennobled and Madinah the Illumined and the surrounding sacred precincts are the province of Hejaz, part of Dar al-Islam, which according to the Shariah every Muslim has a right of entry and residence into, without a visa or residence permit. Muslims have a right to participate in the political process of this area. The huge oil wealth of Arabia belongs to the world of Islam. The handing over of the effective control of this oil wealth to the Americans is an act of treason.

It is imperative that on Muslims are taught the history of the collapse of the Caliphate and its replacement in the heartland of Islam by the secular Saudi -Wahabbi nation state. The world of Islam is today without power. The caliphate has to be restored for power to be restored. Without power, there will be more Bosnia’s, Kashmir’s, Chechnya’s, Palestine’s, Afghanistan’s and Iraq. It is only the true Sufi's, who see with their hearts that can guide mankind back to Allah. The heart sees with light (Nur) that comes from Allah. Things are seen "as they are" and not as they "appear to be".7 Sura al-Araf:  Verse 157

Shaykh Abd al-Qadir Jilani (may Allah be well pleased with him) saw with this light, therefore he rooted out corruption in the Ummah and brought the Muslims back to light and love. Gharib Nawaaz (may Allah be well pleased with him) saw with this light, therefore he planted Islam firmly, in the midst of a idol worshipping nation. Soofi Saheb (may Allah be well pleased with him) saw with this light, therefore he left the land of the Khwajas to spread Islam in Africa. The graduates of the Modern ’Protestant' Islamic institutes, like the Saudi Universities and Deoband Ulooms can never lead this Ummah. They have left the light and hence they cannot see.

 The Signs That The Age Of Fitan Has Begun

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has spoken extensively and with minute details concerning the signs, which will indicate the advent of the age of fitan, the last stage of history. Many of the signs spoken of by the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) have now appeared. Some are still to appear. Among the signs that have already appeared are the following:

Time Will Pass Swiftly

The Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) said that 'Time' would pass very swiftly:

In fact, time is not moving faster. There is a perception of time moving faster and yet faster, due to the fact that the consciousness, recognition, re­membrance and fear of Allah, the Most High, is no longer in most of the hearts of mankind. The 21^st century is an essentially godless age, an age of godless materialism. The remnants of religion and religious life have been secularized. Only the suitable aspects of religious life are being practices as spiritless rituals. The earlier Muslims did not speak about Islam, their character depicted Islam. Our Islam is statement (Qaal) whilst their Islam was state (haal).

 People saw Hazrath Bilaal (May Allah be well pleased with him), Abu Zarr Ghiffari (May Allah be well pleased with him), Hazrath Abd al Qaadir, Ghaws Paak (May Allah be well pleased with him) and Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti (May Allah be well pleased with him) and they saw Islam personified. Their entire life was a commentary of the Holy Qur'aan. The character of the true believer (Mumin) is ones best attire i.e. the attire of Taqwa (God consciousness) and Amal (good deeds). A mumin is dutiful to Allah 24 hrs. The attire of Taqwa (God consciousness) and Amal (good deeds) must not be removed even for a second. Every aspect of a Mumins life is ibaadat or worshipful slavery of Allah.

 Mechanized Transport Will Displace Natural Transport (i.e Horses)

The Prophet (s) spoke of another sign in which he prophesied that a foal will be born and would not be ridden before the last hour comes. (Abu Daud) This prophecy has today been fulfilled with the emergence of mechanized transport, which has all but displaced the natural transport created by Allah, the Most High. It would be quite wrong for anyone to conclude from the above prophecy that the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has opposed the development of science and technology, or that a Muslim should not drive a mo­tor car, of fly in an aeroplane. Mechanized transport (i.e., cars, trucks, trains etc.) did not have to displace the natural means of transport that was created by Allah. It could have supplemented that natural transport. It did not. It has displaced natural trans­port wherever it has appeared in the world. And that is a worrying development.

The implication of the emergence of mechanized transport dis­placing 'natural' transport all over the world is that 'deen al-fitrah', or the way of life which conforms with nature, and is in harmony with Allah's khalq (nature), will now disappear! That represents the successful fulfillment of the threat issued by Satan (Iblees) when he was cursed by Allah, the Most High, and expelled from heaven. The Holy Qur'aan says in the 4^th Sura: an-Nisaa: Verse 119:

And so, this second sign of the age of fitan has also been fulfilled.

 It is important that we recognize that mechanized transport made the world dependent on oil, and on science and technology with special emphasis on metallurgy.

Allah, the Most Wise, placed oil in huge quantities in the Arabian heartland of Islam. This set the stage for the Western occupation of Arabia (something which has already occurred, and which all, but the Saudi Wahhabis, recognize), and for confronta­tion between the West and Islam. That confrontation is taking place right now. It will continue to increase until it eventually results in the re-emergence of Islam as the supreme power in the world. Western civilization will self-destruct. The Holy Qur’aan has placed such emphasis on metallurgy that an entire surah (chapter) is entitled al-Hadeed (iron and steel).

 Universal Consumption Of Alcohol And Univer­sal Prevalence Of Adultery And Fornication In The Age Of Dajjal

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has also declared that the age of fitan will witness the universal consumption of alcohol (i.e., all that intoxicates). This indicates that the age of fitan will also be the age of all drugs, which intoxicate. Such will be cocaine, marijuana, opium, hash­ish, crack, heroin etc. This is most decidedly the age of the con­sumption of drugs. One in every six families in USA is now af­fected by alcoholism, and the problem is growing worse daily. Furthermore, no government in the West, or in the rest of the world, has succeeded in cleansing their society of drugs.

And so, this sign has most certainly been fulfilled.

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) also declared that the age of fitan would be the age of Dajjal, and that age would 'witness universal adultery and fornication, and, subsequently, a preponderance of bastard children (aulad az-zinah) in the world. The modem age has witnessed a sexual revolution, which is fast demolishing the basic code of sexual morality, which religious societies have upheld through the ages. Television, Cable, Internet, Video movies, pornography, public nudity, public vulgarity, sexually suggestive dress, conduct, advertisement etc., are all at work in reducing sexual conduct to a level of shameless lust worse than that of pigs. Every generation that is now born must live with a world more sexually decadent than that which the previous generation faced. Adultery and fornication has already become a way of life in the modem age and, in many societies today, the majority of children are born out of wedlock.

This confirms the modem age to be the age of Dajjal and, thus, the age of fitan.

Dajjal And The Age Of Amazing Scientific And Technological Discoveries

 The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has predicted amazing scientific and technological discoveries, which will herald the age of fitan:

This Hadith almost certainly anticipates the emergence of cellular telephones attached to the upper thighs. This is now commonplace. It also refers to the insertion of microchips in shoes etc. This is already being done in some places to keep track of children.

Apart from the fact that modem politics appears to be the arena of wild beasts, I do not know how to interpret the prophecy that wild beasts will speak to men. Perhaps it refers to the development of such technology as would utilize electronic impulses and waves to permit intelligent communication between human beings and animals.

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has described several scientific and technological achievements of Dajjal (i.e., the civilization created by Dajjal) by which he seeks to deceive mankind into believing in him and following him down the road to disbelief (kufr) and godlessness (shirk). Some of these scientific and technological achievements have already appeared. We can direct attention to only a few of these prophecies of the Prophet (s) concerning the feats of Dajjal as reported in(Kanz al-Ummal. Vol. 7. Hadith No. 2998, Abu Daud.       Mishkaat: Kitab al-Fitan). They are as follows:

v     he will travel as fast as the cloud is carried by the wind,

v     the earth will be rolled up for him,

v     he will hold the cloud in his right hand,

v     he will over-reach the sun at its setting place,

v     before him will be a mountain of smoke,

v     the sea will be ankle-deep for him,

v     he will be jumping about between the heavens and the earth,

v     underneath him will be a white ass, the length of each of his two ears will be thirty yards, and between one leg of his ass and the other will be the distance of a day and a night s journey.

Collapse Of Character, Integrity And Morality Of Government And People

There is no need whatsoever to comment on the above. It is as plain as daylight that these conditions have now appeared in the world.

Universal Consumption Of Riba (Usury) In The Age Of Dajjal

Although the consumption of riba is so great a sin that Allah, the Most High, has declared the punishment for it to be eternal punishment in Hell, and although Allah, the Most High, declared war for the liberation of those oppressed by riba, yet the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) prophesied that the time would come when all of mankind, including Muslims, will be consuming riba:

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) also declared that the age of Dajjal would be the age of riba. We live today in an age in which riba has penetrated every single part of the earth. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) also declared that Dajjal would operate by way of deception. Perhaps his greatest feat of deception so far has been taking 'paper' and making it into 'money'. Around the world today, paper money is riba! Paper money is expanding its evil grip into plastic and electronic money. It is being used to drain mankind of all their wealth. It creates a class of blood-sucking predators who live of the sweat of the people. And it imprisons the masses in slave labor. The purpose for the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a corrupt, predatory, godless elite is to render the masses incapable of resisting the embrace of the godless way of life. Resistance would result in starvation. Here is what the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has warned:

Feminist Revolution In The Age Of Dajjal

We have already demonstrated that the prevalence of adultery and fornication and of the ever-increasing incidence of illegitimate births (i.e. of bastard children) confirms that we now live in the age of Dajjal. But there is much more evidence which confirms this. The Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions)  said that:

He also said:

These Ahadith indicate that the age of Dajjal would witness a new philosophy of feminism, which would fascinate and utterly captivate the women of the world. It would be deceptive, claiming to liberate women from oppression visited upon them by religion, society and men, but it would destroy their faith, rather than liberate them. There is a clear indication of the arrival of the age of Dajjal in the following prophecy of the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions)

There could be no fulfillment of this prophecy so long as the beard remained on the face of the male. The beard had to go. And it has gone! With the disappearance of the beard cross-dressing now became possible.

Return Of Paganism

The age of fitan will not only witness the emergence of the godless society, it will also witness the return of paganism. All the pagan beliefs and practices, which had been demolished by the great Prophets and Messengers of Allah, will all return to the world with diabolical cunning and raging vengeance. The world of today exhibits all the signs of the return of paganism:

Dhul Khalasa was the idol of the Arabian tribe of Daus in the period before Islam. Today we see paganism is an accepted ‘religion’ in the so-called free -world. Images of women dancing around pagan statues are shown on Television

Release Of Ya'jooj And Ma'jooj

Yajooj and Majooj will be released and according to the Qur’aan, in the 21^st Sura, al-Anbiya: Verse 95, they will descend on us from every height and will create a civilization, which will take total control of the world. Today's modem western civilization, comprising people of Europe and of European origin, has done precisely that! The West first took control of the seas of the world. Then they took control of the land. Finally they took control of the air. This was more than amply demonstrated in the Gulf War of 1991. The age of Yajooj and Majooj would witness the spread of godlessness around the world and, at the end of this age, only one in a thousand would enter into Heaven:

The Capitalist Godless Elite want to transform religion into a weak receding force with no real impact on the society. Already Christianity and Judaism have been secularized, and, as for Hinduism and Buddhism, the writing is on the wall. The fiercest and most sophisticated attack of all, however, is being launched on Islam, and that is to secularize Islam. That attack is taking place right now. What is secular Islam? Islam would be secularized if Dajjal succeeds in creating Muslim communities who:

- establish the masjid, salaat, and the maktab for teaching

Islam to children,

- fast every Ramadan with gusto,

- give of their wealth in charity,

- invite people to Islam,

- even observe much of the Sunnah of the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions)  with care, but avoid the struggle of responding appropriately and courageously to the awesome challenges posed by the modem secular materialist society.

The danger we face today is the blind following, out of ignorance or conveniences, of so-called Muslim scholars who are themselves misguided or are engaged in an act of betrayal of Allah, His Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions), Islam and the Ummah. They are busy with outside trappings, religious frivolities and are in cahoots with oppressive regimes like Saudi Arabia. This has artificially divided Muslims into: those prepared to co-exist with falsehood and the Muslims prepared to defend truth and rid falsehood from within and without.

This has constituted a fulfillment of the prophesy of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) who declared of that secularized Islam in the age of fitan:

It would hardly be an appropriate response that one should, like an ostrich, put one's head in the sand and pretend that the onslaught of the godless will go away.

Salvation in the age of fitan is dependent upon Muslims exerting themselves to the utmost to remain steadfastly faithful to the religion of Islam as delivered by Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions). If we embrace the essentially godless way of life, then all of mankind will eventually live the same way, have the same kind of family life (unstable and unhappy), build the same kind of homes (bigger than they need, and filled with appliances that they can do without), invite Satan into their homes the same way (television sets, VCR's, satellite antennas etc.), marry the same way (several marriages one after the other), have the same number of children (two - a boy and a girl), divorce the same way (fighting over property, custody of children, and child support), eat the same food (McDonald hamburgers, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut pizzas, bacon and eggs for breakfast and roast pork for lunch), shop the same way (in shopping malls of course), manage their finances the same way (borrowing money from the bank and then paying huge loans on interest), have the same personal hygiene in the toilet (use toilet paper rather than water), dress the same way, work the same way (like donkeys, who work more and more, for less and less), holiday the same way (Miami, Disney World in Orlando), have the same diseases and illnesses (heart diseases, diabetes etc.), die the same way (committing suicide, or being killed in physician-assisted suicides in hospitals which are either high-priced or callously indifferent to suffering, or both), etc., be buried the same way (funerals with elaborate services and expensive caskets for the rich, and simple cheap boxes or cremations for the poor) and then insist that all of the above represent progress. The people of Allah who will be few in numbers, will be different and therefore strange (gareeb) to the rest of mankind.

That phenomenon will then confirm the prophecy of the Holy Prophet  (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) who said:

The only way by which anyone can survive that storm with faith (in Allah) intact is by holding firmly to Muhammad, the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) and by loving him and his way above any way. There will be no other way! Every political and religious group claims they are working for peace, yet the world is in turmoil. The Qur'aan says that those who have Iman can give you peace. Entering into the circle of people with true Iman will give you strong Iman and peace. Iman should not be gauged on external appearance. The Holy Qur'aan warns in the 63^rd Sura  al-Munaafiqun: Verse 4

No troublemaker will tell you he has come to make trouble. E.g. Builders and demolishers are similar in dress and they use similar tools. Don’t be fooled with the tools, see whose hands the tools are in.  The sword is a beneficial tool for Islam if it is in the hand of Hazrath Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him) or Hazrath Khalid bin Waalid (May Allah be well pleased with him) but not if it is in the hand of an hypocrite. The pen is beneficial for Islam in the hand of Hazrath Hassan bin Thabit (May Allah be well pleased with him), Ghaws al Azam (May Allah be well pleased with him) or Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (May Allah be well pleased with him). The pen is not beneficial in the hands of an unbeliever who defiles the din or a Hypocrite blaspheming the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions). Similarly the Qur'aan and Hadith are beneficial if taught by people of correct belief but can be detrimental to belief if taught by people of corrupt belief.

Recall the incident of how Hazrath Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him) spared the enemy in battle.

The disbeliever saw the character of Hazrath Ali (May Allah be well pleased with him) but he read the Kalima of Rasulullah (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions). This reflects the link between friendship of Allah or Wilayat and Prophethood or Nabuwat. Wilayat is the proof of the authentic prophetic call. The radiance of Prophetic teachings flow from the friends of Allah.

Fire and water cannot mix. A lover can only unite with lovers. A drop of water immerses itself into the sea to attain eternal life. If it is mixed in sand it is annihilated. Therefore Unity can only be attained if we hold fast to the rope of Allah. The rope is the companionship of the lovers of Allah. Those that have left this rope are gone astray. 

Wastage

This is the age of reckless, excessive and utterly wasteful consumption of the resources of the earth (with particular reference to water). It is this reckless exploitation of the resources of the earth (such as the destruction of forests) that will lead to the extinction of many species, and to the death of the earth. Thus, respect for water, and economy in the consumption of water, are of strategic importance for the survival of faith. Most Muslims, including many who today consider themselves to be rightly guided, no longer perform the wudhu of the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) He used a mudd (half-a-gallon) of water, and strictly ordered the believers against exceeding that amount of water for wudhu even when they have a flowing stream of water before them, i.e. even when there is an abundant supply of water. Most Muslims use far more water than that when performing wudhu from a flowing tap. In doing so they violate the Sunnah of wudhu. There is grave doubt whether their wudhu is valid. The same violation of the Sunnah takes place in ghusl (bath).

This devilish exploitation of the resources of the earth (with water occupying a place of central importance) would eventually lead to the ecological disaster, as mentioned in the 18^th Sura, al-Kahf, Verse8 of the Holy Qur’aan, of the earth being eventually transformed into a absolute dust bowl because of the scarcity of (sweet) water:

       Verily what is on earth We shall make but as dust and dry soil (without growth and herbage).      

This was also predicted by the Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) that that Yajooj and Majooj will pass by a river and drink it dry.

Ya'jooj And Ma'jooj And The State Of Israel

The Qur’aan also speaks of another very important sign of a town, which was destroyed by Allah, the Most High, Who then pronounced a prohibition for that town ever to be restored. The Qur’aan says in the 21^st Sura, al-Anbiya: Verse 95:

When Gog and Magog are released however, and they take control of the world, then that town will rise again. It is the opinion of Maulana Fazlur Rahman Ansari (may Allah be well pleased with him) and his capable student Imran Nazar Hoosein, on whose research the bulk of this paper is based, that the qaryah is Jerusalem. As a consequence the Qur’aanic verse is declaring that the State of Israel will be restored as a consequence of the assistance given to the Jews by the civilization created by Yajooj and Majooj. Thus the restoration of the State of Israel in 1948 confirmed that Yajooj and Majooj have been released and mankind is living in the age of fitan. It also confirms that Dajjal is released because he is the one who deceived the Jews into creating the Zionist Movement and to embark on a pig-headed effort to restore the State of Israel in Palestine.

Signs Of The Age Of Fitan Still To Appear

 Perhaps the most important of the signs of the age of fitan still to appear are the following:

o       the Hajj will be abandoned (Bukhari)

-           the Sea of Galilee will become dry (Kanz al-Ummal)

-           the emergence of Imam al-Mahdi (Bukhari, Muslim)

-           The return of Jesus (may Allah bless him with peace) (Bukhari, Muslim)

The implications of living in the age of fitan

The Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) declared of the age of fitan

-           That in it: there would be nothing left of Islam but its name,

-            Nothing left of the Qur 'an but its traces.

-           He said that the ulama (religious scholars) will be the worst of all men.

-           He also said that: the Masjid will be (grand) structures but would be devoid of Islam and another version states, full but devoid of worship.

-             He declared of this age that the ummah (i.e. the world of Islam) would be divided into 73 different sects (we seem to have many more than that today) and only one would be rightly guided. Which would be that rightly guided group of Muslims? Surely the answer must be found in the measure of conformity with the Qur'anic guidance and the Sunnah of the blessed Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) particularly as it pertains to the organization of the community of Muslims.

Protection From The Fitnah Of Dajjal In The Age Of Fitan

The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him, his family and his companions) has ordered that the believers recite Sura al-Kahf every Friday for protection from the fitnah (evil, trials, temptations) of Dajjal in the age of fitan. Recite Surah al-Kahf on a Friday, he said, and it will protect you from his evil until the next Friday.

In addition to the recitation of the Surah it is also necessary for all of us to study this Surah with great care to become familiar with it, to know it well, and to penetrate it and understand it in depth.
